FAQ

1. What is an Alarm system?
An alarm system is a composed of several devices that detect and avert potentially dangerous situations. They are composed of a control panel, a keypad, a siren, motion detection and door/window contacts. It is most effective when it is connected to a monitoring center. This guarantees an immediate response by the proper authorities because without monitoring the alarm system does not notify anyone.

2. What is monitoring?
When an Alarm system is monitored by a monitoring company, it is connected to a monitoring center via the phone line, cellular module or most VOIP services. When the alarm is tripped a signal is sent to the monitoring center notifying them of the potential emergency and its location (i.e. Back door, basement window, etc.).
